William Slade “Bill” Connelly, 46, of Great Mills, MD, formerly of Bethesda, MD, passed away on September 13, 2010 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. He was born on March 8, 1964 in Washington, DC to Robert Loomis and Jane Slade Connelly. Bill graduated from Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD in 1982 and went on to get his Bachelors Degree from St. Mary’s College in St. Mary’s City, MD. He is survived by his parents Robert L. “Bob” Connelly and Jane S. Connelly of Lusby, MD; and siblings, Richard C. Connelly of Richmond, VA, Mary Beth Barnette and husband Marty of Southern Shore, NC, and Mary Heather Najjar and husband Haytham of Gaithersburg, MD. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 10 ~ 11 AM in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Solomons, MD where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM with Father Richard Gardiner officiating. Inurnment will be private. Funeral arrangements provided by Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., Lusby, MD.
