Claire DeSilver Fowler, age 86, of Prince Frederick, MD, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend died October 9, 2010 at Calvert County Nursing Center. She was born August 12, 1924 in Forty-Fort, Pennsylvania to Edward and Ethel (Miller) Cocker. She was educated in Pennsylvania schools and attended Dallas High School in Dallas, PA. She moved to the Washington area as a young woman. Clair was married to Edward B. Fowler, a Broomes Island native, on April 12, 1958. He preceded her in death in February 2002.
