Benjamin Austin Steele

Benjamin Austin Steele of Baltimore, MD, age 33, passed away at his home on October 13, 2010. Ben was born in Canada to Michael and Linda Steele. He moved with his mom to Calvert County in 1990. He is survived by his parents, his fiancé Bertha Berrios of Baltimore, his grandfather Ernest Rotramel, Jr., his uncle Alfie Steele and aunt and uncle Linda and Dave Copley and cousins Sara and Molly. Ben was known for his caring nature and nurturing personality. He graduated from Northern High School in 1995 and went to work for Bank of America while also attending UMBC. He enjoyed reading about his favorite bands, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails and Pearl Jam. His favorite pastime was baseball and he was very fond of helping his fiancé’s nieces and nephews and taking them hiking and sight-seeing. Ben was also passionate about mathematics.
