Delha Herrick Barwick, age 66
of Solomons, MD on October 28, 2010. Delha was born on February 6, 1944 in Rockville Centre, NY to the late Harriett Seibert and Howard J. Herrick, Jr. She retired from the Prince Georges County Public School System where she taught for 30 years. She was a very active member of Christ Episcopal Church in Port Republic and a member of the Daughters of the King and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed playing with her three dogs.
Beloved mother of William Allen Barwick, III and Katharine Alice Barwick. Grandmother of Tai-Shan Barwick. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Putnam Flagg. Visitation will be held Monday November 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Christ Epicopal Church,3100 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD where a service will be held on Tuesday November 2, 2010 at 11 A.M. Interment will be held in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Memorial; contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, Port Republic, MD.
