George Richard "Ricky" Riston, Jr., age 61, passed away November 4, 2010 at Calvert Memorial Hospital, Prince Frederick. Ricky was born in Washington, D.C. on October 18, 1949 to George R. and Mary Louise (Radtke) Riston, Sr. Ricky was raised in District Heights and Forestville and attended Suitland High School. He was a pressman for Professional Graphics Printing Company. Ricky was also well known as the vocalist for the oldies band True Tones. He had a passion for restoring old cars and building street rods. Ricky also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Paula Jean (Luskey) Riston, father George R. Riston, Sr.; step-father Harry L. Hilton, Jr. and a sister, Jo Ann Riston. He is survived by his fiancée Tina Marie; his mother Mary L. Hilton; children Kimberly A. Magnum (Ryan), George R. “Ricky” Riston III and Victoria Marie; sisters Irene and Pamela Riston and Starlene Hilton and brothers Mark Riston, Harry Hilton IV, Edgar Hilton; grandchildren Tommy, Jr., Sean and Taylor Beach, Marissa Riston, Liam and Aidan Magnum and Tatum, Peyton and Marley Sneed, and by a niece and God-daughter Casey Lee Sneed.
