Jacqueline C. "Jackie" Wieber

Jacqueline C. “Jackie” Wieber, 64, passed away January 23, 2011 at the South River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Edgewater, MD. Jackie was born December 30, 1946 in Prince Frederick, MD to John Prentice Thatcher, Jr. and Jane E. (Hill) Thatcher. She was raised in Solomons, MD where she attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic School, and graduated from Calvert High School in Prince Frederick, class of 1964. She was employed for many years as a waitress and cook, and had lived in Glen Burnie, MD for the past 15 years. In her leisure time Jackie enjoyed cooking and dancing. She was preceded in death by her mother Jane E. Thatcher, a brother John P. Thatcher, III and her fiancé Ronald Disney. She is survived by her daughter Justine M. “Tina” Whitney and her boyfriend Jeffrey Mattingly of Owings, MD; a son Richard T. “Rick” Sabath of Glen Burnie; her father John P. “Jack” Thatcher, Jr. and his wife Connie of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren Lauren and Ryan Whitney of Solomons; a sister Janet Thatcher and a brother Joseph Thatcher and his wife Karen, all of Prince Frederick, MD. A memorial celebration of Jackie’s life will be held by her family at a later date.
