David Joseph “Joey” Tretick, age 23, of Camp Springs, MD died February 8, 2011 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore as a result of an automobile accident. He was born in Clinton, MD to Michelle L. Tretick and David A. Giroux, Jr. Joey attended Lothian Elementary School, Southern Middle School, Southern High School and completed his education at Westlake High School in Waldorf, MD. The most important things in Joey life were his friends and his music. Surviving are his mother and step father, Michelle and Billy Stanley of Lothian, MD, father and step mother, David, Jr. and Shannon Giroux of Newburg, MD; siblings Mary Sue Boyd of Frederick, MD, Justin Brady of Lothian, MD, Jacob Stanley of Lothian, MD and Karissa Stanley of Lothian, MD; maternal grandparents Sally Lukaesko of Camp Springs, MD and Michael and Jeannine Tretick of Indian Head, MD; paternal grandparents David, Sr. and Kathleen Giroux of Suitland, MD and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
