Charles Anton Benesh, 79, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 in Bluffton, S.C. He was born in Union City, N.J. on July 16, 1931, and was a resident of Maryland for 74 years before moving to Bluffton, S.C. in 2005. He married the love of his life, Doris in 1951.
He worked as a superintendent for 32 years for Ceilings and Partitions in the Washington area, until he retired in 1996. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; daughter, Susan, son-in-law, Mike; grandson, Eric, wife, Traci, son, Mason; grandson, Charlie, wife, Cassie, daughter, Sophia; and brother, James Benesh. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard.
Family and friends will be received at Rausch Funeral Home, Owings, Maryland, on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00. Funeral services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, Prince Frederick, Maryland, on June 15, 2011 at 11:00.
