Monika MacKinnon
Monika MacKinnon, 51, of Lusby, MD passed away at her home on June 14, 2011. Monika was born in Duisburg, Germany on August 15, 1959 to the late Horst and Barbara vanMeel Weber. She enjoyed camping, traveling and taking care of her flower beds.
She was the beloved wife of James MacKinnon, and mother of Brianna MacKinnon, Gina MacKinnon, Albert MacKinnon, Amanda Cofield, Mark Smith, Samantha Smith and Ryan Wingrove. Grandmother of Madison Wilder and Alexis Smith, she is also survived by her twin brother, Mario Weber.
The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, P.A., 4405 Broomes Island Road Port Republic, MD on Saturday June 18, 2011 from 3-4 PM where a memorial service will follow at 4 PM with Pastor Steve Ferman officiating. Interment is private. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Calvert Hospice.
