Hunter Dean Scott, 7, of Lusby, MD passed away peacefully at his residence on July 2, 2011 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on October 26, 2003 at Calvert Memorial Hospital, Prince Frederick, MD to Eric and Sandra Scott of Lusby, MD. He was a student at Dowell Elementary School in Lusby. Hunter is survived by his parents; a brother, Hayden Allen Scott of Lusby, MD; grandparents, Vinson and Linda Scott of Solomons, MD, and Charles and Becky Russell of Lexington Park, MD. Hunter was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nettie Ann Russell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andy Barrett, Ian Bonham, Ben Mannion, John Baki, Ronald Scott, Jr., and David Roche. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 8, 2011 from 10 ~ 11 AM in Jesus the Good Shepherd Church, 1601 West Mount Harmony Road, Owings, MD 20736 with a Memorial Service being celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will be private. The family request contributions to be made in Hunter’s memory to the Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation, 20312 Watkins Meadow Drive, Germantown, MD 20876, www.childhoodbraintumor.org.
