Preston R. Milling, 82, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on August 12, 2011 in Prince Frederick, MD. Born on December 28, 1928 in Lusby, MD to the late Richard A, and Frances Genevieve Milling. Preston loved dancing and old time country music. He worked as a carpenter for Cruse-A-Long Ship Yard down Drum Point for many years and did some farming on the side.
Father of Patricia L. Swann, Debbie L. Largent, Sandra L. Mister, Preston R. Milling, Jr., Donna S. Milling, Kirstie J. Milling, Gary R. Milling and the late Pamela k. Thompson. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren , and 2 sisters, Annie E. Hooper and Ethel Dorsey.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 16, 2011, from 10- 11 AM at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM in St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery.
