Anna Virginia Sharpe, 90, of Chesapeake Beach, MD passed away January 13. 2012 in Solomons Nursing Center. She was born May 19, 1921 in Lost City, West Virginia to the late Wade and Marcella Shell Snyder. Anna worked in the Administration Department for National Geographic. She was kind and sweet, and she always put the needs of others before her own. She adored her family and enjoyed every minute she spent with them. She loved all people and instantly developed friendships with everyone she met.
She is survived by sons, Larry Sharpe and his wife Terry of North Beach, MD and Terry Sharpe of Chesapeake Beach, MD. Grandmother of Michael Sharpe of Huntingtown, MD and Matthew Sharpe of North Beach, MD. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Jason, Jacob, and Hayden Sharpe.
