Virginia Beverly
Virginia Beverly, 83, of St. Leonard, MD passed away on April 26, 2010 in Georgetown University Hospital. She was born June 29, 1926 in Greene County Virginia to the late Walter and Maggie Shifflett Roberts. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew L. Beverly and 8 siblings.
Beloved mother of Doris Combs ( the late Jess) of Berkley Springs, WVA., Joyce Eiler (Danny) of St. Leonard, MD, Linda Guy (Deane) of Clements, MD, June Abresch (Joseph) of St. Leonard, MD and Andrew L. Beverly, Jr. (Patsy)of St. Leonard, MD. Grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 13, and great great grandmother of 7, she is also survived by her brother Haywood Roberts of Lusby, MD.
The family will receive friends on Thursday April 29, 2010 from 6-8 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home, PA, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD where services will be held on Friday April 30, 2010, 11 A.M. Interment will follow in Waters Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery, St. Leonard, MD. Pallbearers will be J. P. Abresch, Johnny Eiler, Tommy Barrett, Jeffrey Combs, Herman Downs and J.F. Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Eiler, Roy Beverly and Colby Beverly. Memorial contributions may be made to either Waters Memorial UMC or St. Leonard, Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad.
