Charles William McCleary, age 93, of Rose Haven, MD died at his residence on May 10, 2010. He was born November 30, 1916 in Baltimore to Charles W. and Florence (Owens) McCleary. Charlie was a metal lather with local union # 1590 retiring after 30 years. Upon his retirement he moved to the beach area and became a charter boat Captain. He enjoyed people, playing pool, fishing and woodworking, especially making replicas of boats. Charlie was also a kind man with a great sense of humor. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in North Beach a former Member and Grand Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge # 2528 of Deale, MD. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth McCleary, son Carroll William McCleary and his brothers. Surviving are his wife Nancy McCleary whom he married November 24, 2007 at Jesus the Divine Word Church; a granddaughter Carol Ann Larrson and her husband Richard of Thompson, CT and triplet great-grandchildren Garrett, Dawson and Kaitlin Larrson.
